What kind of caulk should i use to seal the cracks, where the floor meets the wall, Roaches are coming in!!?

I've been in my apartment for 2 years, next to the compacter. At first when i saw a roach i sealed off the cabinets in the kitchen and put down Boric acid. It worked for a while, now their coming through the walls and the pipes!! Everywhere!! They literally make me SICK! My building has this rinky dinky exterminator come every other week and it doesn't work. Plus I'm pregnant, i can't take those fumes. I'm trying to find a new apartment before my lease renews, but if i don't, I wanna seal up my place like Fort Knox!! Walls, pipes, EVERYTHING!!!
