Organic Chemistry AS/A2 Help ?

From the information you have given us the only possible gas that can evolve is CO2(g) by double protonation of carbonate. Unless you added some reducing agents by mistake there is no reason why you would have produced H2(g) from an acidic solution upon addition of Na2CO3. You may want to double check your notebook and pay attention at other reagents you added to your solution.
