Questions about Japan!?

Less harshl than the Boxer protocol and the rason the UN had little to do with the occupation of Japan is because Japan was occupied only by the USA..When USSR demanded a sphere to occupy as Germany hd been divided, MacArthur said hell no and Truman backed him up...All the USSR got was part of the Salkhin Islands that Japan had taken from them in 1905...I can't remember the date Japan was asked to join the UN, but her relationship with the UN is exactly the same with the League..both have no methods to enforce compliance with it's edicts and in fact Japan has ignored all edicts and bans on fishing territories and whaling limitations...
