How can i resolve this problem with my landlord?

they are chargin me for thins that wernt in the apatrment .. like door stopers,cleaning of the carpet!! there was no carpet!!!! door knobs(they never worked promptly) and stuff like that! where can i go??? and they refused to review the contract with me!can i work that out??
