Allergic reaction to the adhesive in bandaids?

I had a bug bite underneath my armpit in that area of really soft skin right next to the bra strap. When I went to put cream on it I didn't want it all over my shirt so I put a bandaid over it. That was like 3 days ago.. When I took the bandaid off this morning there were raised red bumps where it had been. It really hurts and my bra is rubbing the area raw. Anyway to make the redness and irritation go down quickly?
