Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog vs Sonic X...?

Sonic X seems to make Sonic seem slower, it seems he lost his 'up over and gone' speed. He is not the Sonic I know. The Sonic I know always craved chilly dogs, and always wore silly disguises that fooled "Dr. Ronick" and Scratch, Grounder, and that monkey robot. Japan has a different take on Sonic, but us Americans made him better. Don't anyone here agree?
