What does it mean to be a true Christian?

How do I become a true Christian? I think that I have been touched by the Holy Spirit by a powerful speech. It is now time for a change. I know I believe in Christ, but it is now time to show it. Father God, show me the path of right righteousness, show me the way to the light. Dear Lord lift thy spirit as the Holy Spirit enters my heart and show me what it's like to be a true Christian. Show me freedom from Satin and remove anger that rest in my soul. Remove any untrue aspects that lie in my soul hidden and concealed. What do I as a human being need to work on to become a true Christian. I rarely go to church and haven't been in a long time. I try to read my Bible, but recently I have been putting that aside. Now as I age, recently turned 15 a week ago, I truly believe it is time for a change. Will this change be hard? I am a respectful, kind young adult, as family and citizens always tell me, but deep down inside, I feel as if I am doing something wrong. I want to go to sleep knowing that I have God by my side. I have a teen study Bible, also. Overall, what does it take to become a peaceful, loving Christian?
