What would be best fishes for 15(us ) gallon tank?

as i just tought of having parrot but all my frnds over here said me not to do that . Ok i just thinking 2ft lngth and 1ft wde & hght is this 15 gallon tank pls suggest me i just bored of hving gold fish & angels
